BRINGING IN GOVERNMENT SERVICES

The World's Largest Laundromat's continuing commitment to the community involves bringing in government and community agencies to inform our customers of important policy initiatives and changes.
And this goes way beyond just posting information on our bulletin board. For example, the Laundromat regularly brings in representatives from the USCIS to answer questions about citizenship, and packed a nearby school gymnasium for a special event on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
"Interacting with the government can be intimidating and confusing. But our customers know us. They trust us. They've seen us do lots of good things in the community. So when we put our name on something, the fear recedes," says manager Mark Benson.
