Want to become a U.S. citizen? We're hosting an event to help you find out how

The World’s Largest Laundromat is very proud to partner with local U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services representatives on an information event right here in the laundromat.
Experts from USCIS will be here demonstrating the process through “mock naturalization interviews,” and they will also be able to answer general questions from the community.
“This is a great opportunity to not only get information, but to also see first-hand how the interview process actually works,” said Mark Benson, the store’s manager and event coordinator. “This is a very complicated topic, and it can be very sensitive. We just want to do our part to help members of our community get the best information to make the best decisions for themselves and their families.”
Volunteers from Chicago’s USCIS office will be here from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 3. They will put on a demonstration, where an agent will “pretend” to do a naturalization interviews with their volunteers. A table will also be staffed by local USCIS officials who will be able to answer your questions.
“You don’t have to travel to some office downtown and be surrounded by people you don’t know,” Benson said. “Just come to the Laundromat. You know us, and you know we’re here to help.”
